I built it. I bought all the individual modules/components/hardware and installed them myself. It's a GigaByte mobo w/ an AMD processor. Smile

Your Linux machine is, you mean? Actually, come to think of it, I built my other computer, too (the one that's broken). It has an AMD Athlon XP processor two hard drives: one is 160 GB and the other 2 GB (from my old Windows 98 machine) and 512 MB RAM.

I've built all my machines since 2000 or so. The first couple were given to me (hand-me-downs), but I modified them extensively. The three that I've built from scratch were:

ericsbane01 - AMD K7 Thunderbird - ASUS mobo
ericsbane02 - AMD Athlon XP 2600+ - MSI mobo
ericsbane03 - AMD Athlon 64 - Gigabyte mobo

Yeah, I tend to stick with AMD processors. Smile

I think my other computer has an Elite motherboard. But it's not exactly "elite" because I think that's the piece of hardware that failed in my computer.

The computer I'm writing off of has an Intel Pentium M processor with Centrino mobile technology, an 80 GB hard drive, and 1 GB RAM.

BTW, I added an "I built my own computer" option to the poll.
