Would you use a chatbox?

There's a mod with this forum that enables a chatbox, where you can have live chats with your fellow members. It'd sit right on the index page. The question is, if I enabled it, would you use it? Otherwise, it'll just take up space.

Nah... I prefer standard forum communications.

Okay...so far we have 1 vote NO, and 0 votes YES. If somebody doesn't challenge or add to that vote soon (December 31st, to be exact), I'll close the poll and forget the chatbox.

Alrighty, then. I had a chat box at the Cabin at one time. It was used a bit when I first installed it, but the usage waned rapidly.

Yeah...I tried enabling the chatbox once and it took up half the forum index. It's not worth having such a big chatbox there if nobody'll use it. BTW, only 4 days left to vote!

Joe, you`re gonna have to give it time, man. There arn`t enough of us yet to enable you to make big decisions. One of your Neighbours has a Chat thing going and nobody has been in it yet, well not that i`ve seen. I have sat alone in there a few times for about 10 min and nobody has dropped in.
Don`t get any false impressions.
That is to say, in about a week i have to travel so i will not be on-line for about a month. Don`t go thinking i`ve left, i simply won`t be near a Com.

You mean hornakapopolis? Yeah, it seems like nobody ever uses his chatbox. But who knows; I'll probably end up running that poll again when/if I get more members. Either that or, after a while, I may just enable the chatbox and then run a poll. Then, people would be able to see how they like it before they decide. Have a safe trip!
